Website review
A clearer connection, from the first click.
Evaluation of the public 832 website and the redesign prepared for review. Reviewed September 16, 2026.
The recommendation
Make the site a useful first stop for residents.
The existing site identifies the service and provides contact details. Its strongest content, activation instructions and support responsibilities, sits deeper in long resource pages. The redesign brings that information into clear resident journeys and replaces the oversized logo-led opening with a direct description of the service.
The public pages reviewed were Home, Resources, Contact, and Troubleshooting and FAQs, together with the guide linked from Resources. This review covers publicly observable content, navigation, and page markup. It does not establish the condition of private systems.
What needs to change.
| Area | Observed issue | Redesign response |
|---|---|---|
| First impression | The original desktop opening is dominated by a large animated logo. The service description sits below the initial view. | Lead with fiber internet, a light Lake Nona map, and direct links to move-in guidance and service information. |
| Navigation | The original desktop menu wraps the long FAQ label onto another line. Its pages mix audience needs. | Use shorter labels and separate fiber, resident, community, and support routes. |
| Activation | Resources carries an important three-week pre-closing instruction that the homepage does not surface. | Put the timing in the home journey and in a prominent resident callout. |
| Support | The contact number is plain text in the original page. Troubleshooting tells visitors to call without presenting that number beside the steps. | Provide click-to-call and email actions beside the answers. Clarify the ONT and router responsibilities. |
| Content upkeep | Resources contains a malformed Tom’s Guide link that returns 404. Its Sprint help link redirects to the T-Mobile homepage. The linked guide retains old provider names. | Replace the provider directory with durable setup guidance. Keep essential resident information in the site, with one editorial owner for future updates. |
| Search & structure | All four inspected pages have empty meta descriptions. FAQ lacks an H1 and uses inconsistent question markup. | Add distinct titles and descriptions, one H1 per page, and accessible question-and-answer controls. |
| Trust & service detail | Current pricing, exact service areas, support hours, and service guarantees are not established by these pages. | Invite address-specific confirmation. Do not present guessed plans, availability, uptime, or response times. |
What you can review now.
The redesign includes a new homepage, fiber overview, resident move-in guide, community information, collapsible support answers, contact page, and a summary of the existing mobile privacy notice. It retains the original 832 brand mark and uses blue accents, simpler typography, responsive navigation, and the selected Option C layered-lake map illustration of Lake Nona, with links to nearby Sunbridge communities.
Telephone and email links open the visitor’s own calling or email application. They do not create a ticket or submit an activation request through this website. Community names are drawn from the published resident guide and do not constitute an address-level coverage guarantee.
The customer portal provides a shared demo login, sample connection and ONT status, refresh, and sign-out. It contains no real subscriber data. Live customer access requires a customer identity provider and an authorized network-status connection.
Open the redesigned websiteBefore replacing the public website.
- Operations and customer support. Confirm activation steps, contact ownership, support hours, escalation routing, and the current Dais relationship. Approve the troubleshooting guidance.
- Commercial team. Supply current plans, pricing, equipment terms, service areas, and any approved performance claims before publishing them.
- Website owner. Supply the current service policy documents. Replace the old resident PDF with an approved guide that agrees with the web content.
- Privacy owner. Approve a full website privacy policy and any required terms. The short mobile notice is not a complete website policy.
- Web team. Test desktop and mobile journeys, keyboard navigation, image descriptions, and contact actions before switching the company domain. Set up domain-specific canonical URLs and sitemap, and retain or redirect existing page paths.
- Measurement owner. Establish a baseline for support contact clicks, move-in guide use, and search traffic. Add analytics only after selecting a service and agreeing on consent requirements.
Community network sources.
The local ISP description was confirmed by the site owner. The Lake Nona community groupings follow the official neighborhood directory. The Sunbridge community page identifies Weslyn Park and Del Webb Sunbridge. Sunbridge’s 2021 network announcement identifies 832 and Tavistock’s Sunbridge development. Historical speed statements have not been treated as current service offers.
Useful next phases, once the inputs exist.
An address checker needs an authoritative serviceability dataset. Outage status needs an operations-approved incident feed. Online activation or support tickets need working back-office connections and defined ownership. Those would be useful extensions, but this review version does not simulate live results from systems that have not been connected.
Functionality checked.
All nine pages, desktop navigation, all 13 FAQ answers, contact link destinations, and footer section links were checked. The mobile menu was tested at phone and short landscape sizes, including scrolling and Escape dismissal. Community directory links open their matching information cards. The light map artwork uses the CFX road map as a geographic reference. It is stylized artwork with illustrative fiber lines, not a survey of cable routes or equipment locations. The dedicated fiber page explains the ONT, router, and home-device connection.
Verification limits.
The live public site’s desktop appearance and navigation were inspected. Raw public HTML and linked resources were reviewed. No admin account, analytics, hosting configuration, source repository, ticketing platform, or service-availability database was provided. Backend security, actual conversion performance, and field Core Web Vitals remain unverified. The redesign is published separately from the original 832communications.com website. Telephone and email link destinations were verified without placing calls or sending messages. Backend ticketing, live outage status, address qualification, and activation systems are not connected.
